To all our customers and partners - Thank you for yet another good year together!
Christmas is often a time for reflection, and we then get reminded of all the things we take for granted, that others might not even get close to. Just as previous years, we want to contribute by helping a group in need.
Not far from our office in Belgrade is a shelter named Svratiste. Despite its proximity, it is a world far away. Svratiste is a center for the invisible and vulnerable street children in Belgrade. At times when a society’s social safety nets do not capture its vulnerable people, it is usually the children that get in to trouble first. In countries with poor economy, it is often a bigger problem and many times it is also difficult to reach these children with proper help. This is often carried out by the greatest efforts of nonprofit organizations. We want to support the work done by this shelter by financially supporting them this year.
Mogul supports the Svratiste center for street children in Belgrade

This year, Mogul will support Svratiste by donating money for the center's work. The center has been around since 2007 and currently has contact with nearly 600 children, of whom about 200 visiting the center regularly.
Children who come to the center have a need for warmth and food, protection from violence and sexual exploitation. They often have poor health and medical problems when they first come in contact with the group.
For many of these children the center is the only place where they can get a hot meal, get a bath and warm clothing.
First of all, the center’s first concerned is that kids can get there basic needs met and the next step is working with them to have a chance to get into the society. At the center, the children are being taught practical skills, the importance of managing health and more. The center is working preventive in issues such as drugs and sexual diseases, such as HIV. Also, an effort to ensure that children enter the nursery schools and schools and that they continue their scholar process.

Currently a nurse, a social worker and a couple of special teachers work at the center along with a dozen volunteers who aid recreational activities and homework. We at Mogul want to support their work.
